iheartimg is a small collection of tools for the everyday image tasks — compressing photos before sending them, resizing for a specific platform, converting formats, cropping, and removing backgrounds. Every tool does one thing and does it without friction.

Why we built this

Most image tools upload your files to a server, process them there, and send the result back. That works, but it means your photos leave your device every time you use them. For a lot of people — designers working on unreleased projects, anyone handling private documents, or just someone who doesn't like the idea of their files sitting on someone else's server — that's a real downside.

So we built the opposite. Everything on iheartimg runs locally in your browser using standard web technologies: the Canvas API for the simple tools, and WebAssembly-based AI models for the heavier ones. Your images never leave your device. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tools will keep working.

What you should know

There's no sign-up, no watermark, no file size limit, and no daily quota. The tools are free and always will be. The only thing you'll notice is that the AI features take a moment the very first time you use them, because your browser has to download the model once. After that, it's cached and the tools run instantly.
